We live in Florida and have a covered patio so we put Barbie Cruise out there, on a table and that way they can fill the pool up and I don’t have to worry about water getting everywhere. Princess barbie are having a good voyage! Barbie Boat comes assembled in box, the only drawback is the tedious placement of stickers (that took some time). This Barbie Boattoy is still pretty new to her so she’s having a lot of fun. Opening the slide and closing it down so the disco ball can come out is fine as long as you instruct your child to use the side button, otherwise I can see where it could break easily. Durability is alright. Barbie Boat isn’t that sturdy but not that flimsy either, so I suppose its a matter of time. I doubt my other little one will get any play out of it by the time she turns three. Slide pool is fun. The Barbie Boat opens up for on-deck imaginative play. Barbie Boat opens wide. I think the box says up to 4 feet wide. Anyway, so far- good buy, good price.

Barbie Ship

I got this Barbie Ship for my 8 yo. for Christmas & for her to share with younger sisters. It’s been a while since Christmas but, they still are enjoying Barbie Ship. More so now that her sisters are getting bigger. They actually have fun using it with other smaller dolls as well. Although, I haven’t let them fill Barbie Ship with water yet I’m sure they will like that too. The quality is pretty good. Closing is a little challenging, it sort of snaps at hinges but her being older is not a problem.

Barbie Ship offers plenty of play/imagination space but, I think I like the design of some of the older ships how they open a little better. But, I do see how it makes it easier for younger girls who might struggle with larger dolls & fitting them inside. I like how everything stores nicely inside with room for some extras & Barbies. Barbie Ship fits nicely on top of her portable closet & I’m sure would fit most shelves for tidying up. But, I will say this one stayed open for some time after Christmas before I was able to close it up for a bit:) Now it is back out for Spring play! Ohh… Almost forgot!!! They love the Barbie Ship sounds, dolphin & dance music it plays!

This Barbie Cruise Ship is played with a lot in my playroom by my 4 & 5 year old granddaughters. They love the long slide into the swimming pool (although it looks like a bathtub to them, they still like it & always request it to be filled with water – only fill it 1/2 way & be sure to have a couple bathtowels around in on the floor: when things & barbies go down the slide, it makes a big splash). I taught them which barbies were allowed to get in the pool & which ones are never to get wet & they’ve followed those rules very carefully (they don’t want to lose the privilege of playing with the other barbies!).  Barbie Cruise Ship is about 4 ft. long when it’s completely stretched out so Barbie Cruise Ship is easy for 2 girls to play with it at the same time. If your little girl has a lot of imagination, she will play with this for a couple hours at a time. None of us have ever been on a cruise ship but it doesn’t seem to matter. They just think of it as a vacation ship, which it is. After playtime, the girls put all the barbie things in the large pool & close up the Barbie Cruise Ship. My 5 year old daughter got this Barbie Party Cruise for Christmas. She has played with it every day since then and absolutely loves it. Barbie Party Cruise stores nice and neatly on the shelf (with everything inside the ship!!) And is easy to open and set up for play. She loves the fact that she can either make a water slide or drop down the disco ball for dancing.
